How is the fare calculated in Barcelona? +
The official fare is calculated as flag drop + distance + waiting time.
Barcelona uses T‑1 (weekday daytime) and T‑2 (night, Saturdays and holidays).
What surcharges can apply? +
In addition to the meter, official surcharges may apply. Exact amounts are published by AMB/IMET and appear on the receipt.
- Airport, Moll Adossat (cruise terminal), Fira Gran Via, and Sants station.
- 5–8 passenger vehicles.

Standard luggage usually has no extra charge.

Do you cover trips outside the metropolitan area? +
Yes. If the origin or destination is outside AMB, intercity fares set by the Generalitat apply.
